New routes for Cape Town's MyCiTi buses

Passengers arriving at Cape Town International Airport can now travel directly to the V&A Waterfront aboard a MyCiTi bus without having to change at the Civic Centre.

The City of Cape Town has also changed the original MyCiTi F1 route between Gardens, the Civic Centre and the V&A Waterfront.

The new bus station under the flyover at the Gardens Shopping Centre is now operating, which means passengers wanting to go to Gardens will alight there, and not at the stop on the pavement next to the mall.

The new station accommodates the new low-floor buses, which were recently granted operating licences by the Provincial Regulating Entity.

Two stops in the city centre - Bloem and St George's - are no longer in use.

Passengers wanting to travel from Gardens to the Waterfront will change buses at the Civic Centre station. For more information, log on to www.myciti.org.za or phone the Transport Information Centre on 0800 65 64 63.
